As it is, we'll just tip our collective caps and move on. Texas Tech's Graham Harrell was also a nominee.
The pair of uber-productive signal callers were also named as semifinalists for the Davey O’Brien National Quarterback Award earlier this week, along with KU's Todd Reesing, Oklahoma's Sam Bradford, Texas' Colt McCoy and Oklahoma State's Zac Robinson. That means the Big 12 accounts for six of the 13 semifinal slots. Here's the full list:
